Founded in 1999, Infineon Technologies AG was created after the semiconductor operations of Siemens AG spun off to become its own separate legal entity. The German semiconductor manufacturer is headquartered in Neubiberg, Germany but provides their semiconductor products worldwide through its subsidiaries in the USA, Singapore, and Japan and through their research & development facilities in France, Romania, Taiwan, UK, and Bangalore.
