The Surface book i7 is ridiculously fast. So fast that it is more than twice as fast as the original Surface Book which itself blew away every other laptop in its day. Boasting a best in class battery life, the Surface Book i7 beats all other laptops that are tested against it for speed and battery life. The second iteration of Microsoft’s convertible laptop, the Surface Book i7 is perfectly proportioned at 13.5-inch tablet with PixelSense screen that has both touch and pen support. A discrete graphics chip is hidden in the keyboard base with two sides being held together by an industrial strength hinge found in the original Surface Book.

Dell has placed a “pixel shifting algorithm” by placing a sensor on the monitor that can tell when someone is looking at it and be able to turn it off when no one is watching. They also claim that there are five buttons for the monitor while one on the back releases it from its stand.
A fortune 500 company in China, Xiaomi, which normally sells household items such as rice cookers and air purifiers, has entered the laptop market. Its Mi Notebook Air comes in two sizes, 12.5 and a larger mother ship model.

Working at Hewlett-Packard for 20 years, Neri ran the company’s server business and will serve as the vice president and general manager.
In addition to Veghte, other Hewlett-Packard executives will be leaving the company as well. Hewlett-Packard senior vice president and head of software business security, Art Gilliland, will also be leaving the company to lead a new software startup business. Art has worked for Hewlett-Packard for three years and has six years at the security software company Symantec. The announcement of the company’s split last October, also brought the former executive vice president of HP’s Enterprise Systems division, Dave Donatelli, to leave the company in April and join Oracle. The announcements seem to have had effect on Hewlett-Packard’s stock, as shares fell 1.2 percent to $29.61 at 11:09 a.m. in New York. The stock was down 25 percent this year through Monday.
